Four Seasons Heating and Air Conditioning and the American Recovery and Reinvestment Tax Act of 2009
This ground breaking legislation has gives energy tax credits to consumers who purchase High Efficiency heating, ventilating, and air conditioning equipment to qualify for a direct tax credit of up to $1500.
Qualifying equipment includes:
Air Source Heat Pumps with a minimum SEER of 12.5 and SEER of 15.0
Central Air Conditioning with a minimum SEER of 13.0 and SEER of 16.0
Gas, Propane, or Oil Hot Water Boiler AFUE greater then 90%
Natural Gas or Propane Furnace AFUE greater then 95%
Oil Furnaces AFUE greater then 90%
Existing homes and new construction qualify. Both principal residences and second homes qualify, rental properties do not qualify for the energy tax credit of up to $1500. These tax credits are available through 2010. If you have already purchased a new high efficiency air conditioner of high efficiency furnace Four Seasons has Manufacturer Certification Statement forms available on their website.
