Special thanks to Paul K and his helper Mike C for the fantastic installation of my new furnace and a/c .I retired ten years ago from the sheet metal trade and would have installed the furnace myself but my knees are shot and my eyes are getting bad but for a 75yr old I cant complain to much .The Lennox furnace is great and very quiet one of the best investments Ive made in a long time I dont have to turn up the volume on the TV when the furnace comes on .The people at Four Seasons Heating were very nice and helpful the price was great and in the spring I’m going to buy a new central air unit also .They also cleaned my other furnace and gave my boiler a tune up furnace cleaning for free .
Just wanted to say thank you to Four Seasons for the job they did at my mothers home I’m a only child and my dad passed away 10 yes ago so my mom counts on me to take care of her home handy man jobs etc.I’m a Sargent in the U.S.Marines and I was in Iraq when her ac went out she called Four Seasons out to look at it and they found that the outside ac wire was cut my mom hit it with the weed wacker they put a wire nut on it and it was fixed my mom said my sons in Iraq and he usualy takes care of this.The tech said i’m going to call my boss and see if I can give you a veteran discount because your sin is a Vet his boss said don’t charge my mom and if she needs something just call even if it has nothing to do with heating or cooling . I can’t tell you how much I appreciate what they did thanks Juan and Glen.
Are estimator aked us to post a reply after the installation was done so here we go .From the first phone call to the completition of are installation of two Lennox furnaces and airconditioneers we couldnt be more pleased the installers were very nice and hard working and cleaned up every thing when they were done truely very professional .The priceing was great and warrantys were the best we had 3 quotes and are so glad we picked
Purchased a new furnace for are rental property it was a very easy transaction very happy with the service and prices are estimator walter asked us to post a review on the web site and told us we want your input good or bad were glad to say it was all good .

Who makes the best hot water boiler I have a commercial building that has a existing Peerless boiler that needs to be replaced .Thank you.
I would stay with peerless I talked to a friend of mine who I worked with he was a pipe / boiler man and he said peerless is the best and he siad to be sure you use a qualified contractors.

It’s good to have a heating and cooling company like Four Seasons take the time to answer all of our heating and cooling questions. In Chicago our furnaces are working over time to heat our homes and keep us warm. If you look around the city of Chicago you can see a lot of diffrent heating cooling or should I say furnace companies that offer heating cooling repair and furnace cleaning. I love the fact that you have a blog that talks about all of the issues around the city of Chicago when it comes to home heating furnace repair. How many heating companies are there located in the Chicago area? When I drive around the city of Chicago it seems like we have tons of hvac companies. I think Four Seasons Heating of Chicago is one of the best heating cooling companies in the Chicago land area. You could look all around town and not find a better hvac company.

When your furnace will not come on, check your thermostat. It should be set to auto. An older thermostat can cost you money. Switching to a new digital one is reasonable and not to hard to do-it-yourself. Expect a new thermostat to cost around $35. Read the instructions carefully and you should not have any problems with the install.
Good to know that you provide around the clock service so we know who to contact when our airconditioning unit fails at unlikely hours.
